I have actually been making things - just slowly and peppered amongst all the goody day to day. A quilted cushion (my sister gave me the leftover fabric from a photoboard she made for my neice's room).
and finally finished rainbow tutu similiar to this one for her birthday:
Have also been getting a few costumes together for the opening of mikes2. Here's a couple of pieces but you can check out most of the collection at:http://www.flickr.com/photos/mobblegobble/sets/72157601832754852/
My Neice turned one, had a party and impromptu hang-around for lunch AND dinner. The Tickles were in town, Damage imparted some analysis handiness and helped me organise my head - not only do I now have a list but it's got categories, sub-categories, priorities and statuses!!! So far, one week down and I am almost sticking to it. Review meeting tomorrow night. Today MJ (1) joined in our Monday for the whole day - good trial for the 3 kid equation just in case I was interested......... It was great, exhuasting and not at all a deterent for the future..... Of course she came with fresh baked shepherds pie so life was made quite easy. Had yummy roast lamb in our french oven yesterday. Carmen once fed us the most beautiful lamb. Brown the leg of lamb in a smidgen of oil, add a can of tomato soup, some roughly chopped onion (or perfectly even sized wedges if you are in the mood), a generous helping of whole carrots (or add chopped ones later), keep it cooking for 2 - 3 hours (or longer depending on size). Absolutely warming to the tips of your toes.
